Sustaining Pastoral Excellence is built on the principle that wisdom for pastoral ministry flows out of the pastoral community. “Experts” may lend helpful insight and advice but the people who day in and day out serve the church know what ministry in the name of Jesus looks like. Those who daily serve the church know best both the pitfalls and places of strength. It is important that we keep a conversation going in the pastoral community about the nature of service in God’s kingdom.
